The CEO & President of Amana Investments ((www.amanainvestments.com), Chebel has over 30 years of experience in the design and construction of industrial projects. Prior to founding Amana in 1993, Chebel worked for Kirby Building Systems, Kuwait, and Zamil Steel Buildings – Saudi Arabia. Chebel holds an honors degree in Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management from The University of Nottingham, UK. He is also a Harvard Business School Alumni through the OPM Program.
Riad is the COO of the Amana Investments (www.amanainvestments.com). Prior to Amana, he was the Strategic Marketing Manager for Corning in Boston (USA) and previously held various managerial positions with Schlumberger across the Arabian Gulf. Riad is the Middle East/Africa Director on the global board of the Harvard Alumni Association (USA), the Vice Chairman for the MIT Educational Council in the Southern Gulf and a board member of the MIT Club of the UAE. He is also an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Riad graduated from MIT in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, and from Harvard Business School in 2001 with an MBA.
|Jihad Joseph Bsaibes
Jihad is the Director of Business Development. He joined Amana in 2000 after having worked for Kimberly Clark Corporation (Wisconsin, USA). During the tenure with Amana, Jihad has had various operational positions in the capacity of Procurement Officer, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager and General Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from The University of Alabama (USA).
Ghassan M. Jaber is the Chief Financial Officer of Amana Investments. Joining Amana in 2010, Ghassan brings with him over 27 years of international experience in Accounting, Auditing, Finance and Consulting, including the last thirteen years in the Middle East. Ghassan started his career in 1983 with Deloitte & Touche through their Middle East and US offices, leaving the Big Four in 2007 to join Sama Dubai, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Holding, as its Chief Financial Officer. Ghassan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California and Illinois CPA Societies and is a graduate of the American University of Beirut.
